Teignbridge District Council is looking for a Loader to join the recycling and refuse team on a permanent basis. The role involves moving, lifting and handling recycling and refuse containers and ensuring the correct materials are collected from recycling boxes and food waste containers.
It is a physically demanding job that requires a strong team ethos and commitment to safety. You will work 37 hours per week with early starts and the potential for overtime.

Join the recycling and refuse team as a loader and be part of the vital crew keeping the area clean, safe and reducing the environmental impact of waste.
The role involves moving, lifting and handling recycling/refuse containers, ensuring the right recycling materials are collected from recycling boxes and food waste containers.
You will have an understanding of operational health and safety, and have previous experience of working in a manual role.
You will enjoy working together as part of a team to deliver on our vision of making Teignbridge a healthy and desirable place where people want to live, work and visit.
