Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is seeking a Loadbay Operative to work in a chilled environment in Sittingbourne. The role involves stacking and palletising 10kg tubs of jam, preparing pallets for storage and dispatch, and handling dispatch paperwork with basic computer use. Driving is mandatory due to location, and access is limited by public transport.

The position is a temp-to-perm opportunity with daytime shifts, offering ongoing work for the right candidate and on-the-job training and support.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.

• Computer literate and confident using basic computer systems for dispatch documentation.
• Flexible to work rotating shift times of 06:00-14:00, 08:00-16:00 and 10:00-18:00.

The Role

• Working in a chilled loadbay environment
• Stacking, moving and palletising 10kg tubs of jam
• Preparing pallets for storage and distribution
• Checking, preparing and processing dispatch paperwork
• Using computer systems to support dispatch activities
• Following health & safety and manual handling procedures
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area

What We're Looking For

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team

• Must have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, as public transport is not suitable and the site location is not easily accessible
