Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is helping source a Loadbay Operative for a client in Sittingbourne. The role operates in a chilled loadbay, stacking and palletising 10kg tubs of jam, with dispatch paperwork and basic computer use.

Flexible to cover 06:00–14:00, 08:00–16:00, or 10:00–18:00 shifts, Monday to Friday, with driving required. Applicants should be physically fit, reliable, and able to work as part of a small team.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a chilled environment.
• Computer literate and confident using basic computer systems for dispatch documentation.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Work in a chilled loadbay environment.
• Stack, move and palletise 10kg tubs of jam.
• Prepare pallets for storage and distribution.
• Check and process dispatch paperwork.
• Use computer systems to support dispatch activities.
• Follow health & safety and manual handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
