Age UK Nottingham & Nottinghamshire is seeking caring Living Well at Home supports to assist clients in maintaining independence and well-being at home in the East Midlands, United Kingdom.

You will visit individuals in their homes, understand their routines and preferences, and tailor support to their needs while encouraging choice and community connection.

Responsibilities

• Help with cleaning, ironing, laundry and bedding.
• Shop with or for someone and help prepare simple meals.
• Assist with letters, everyday paperwork and accessing online services.
• Accompany someone to appointments or community activities.
• Provide company and conversation over a cup of tea.

Join Age UK Nottingham & Nottinghamshire’s Living Well at Home service, and you’ll work with people one-to-one, getting to know their interests, routines and what matters to them. From helping someone feel on top of things at home to enjoying a trip out together, you’ll play a vital role in helping them live independently and well at home.

Working closely with individuals, their families and professionals, you’ll support people to build on their strengths, make their own choices and stay connected to their local community.

Your visits could include:

• Helping with cleaning, ironing, laundry and changing bedding
• Shopping with or for someone and helping prepare simple meals
• Helping with letters, everyday paperwork and accessing online services
• Accompanying someone to appointments or community activities
• Providing company and conversation over a lovely cup of tea
