Job summary

WWT Llanelli is seeking a Living Collection Keeper on a 12 month fixed term maternity cover to look after our living collection, assist with daily animal care and help deliver our mission to restore wetlands. The role involves practical husbandry and general maintenance to uphold high standards.

Annualised hours of 33 per week with monthly salary payments. Weekend work and some bank holidays are required, and you will join a team dedicated to creating environments people love to visit.

Qualifications

• Experience in animal care and maintenance is desirable.
• Willingness to work weekends and some bank holidays.
• Comfort with working outdoors and in a conservation setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily feeds and general animal care duties.
• Assist with general maintenance of grounds and collection areas.
• Be part of a team dedicated to animals and visitor-friendly environments.
