Job summary

Joloda Hydraroll in Liverpool seeks a quality and process improvement lead to build a lean function across two UK sites. You will own quality, drive root-cause analysis, and engineer robust processes beyond firefighting.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will champion Lean and Six Sigma, deliver measurable productivity gains, and grow the team as the department expands. This is a chance to shape quality culture from scratch.

Qualifications

• Lean or Six Sigma trained with practical application in manufacturing.
• Supervisory experience within production, manufacturing or quality teams.
• Experience with engineering manufacture and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Investigate quality failures and lead root cause corrective actions.
• Prioritise improvement projects using Pareto and Lean/Six Sigma methods.
• Lead value stream mapping to improve process flows and layouts.
• Coach teams to run their own improvement projects.
• Set quality standards and manage day-to-day quality systems and KPIs.
• Report monthly on performance and improvement actions.
• Shape team structure as the department grows.
