Job summary

Johnson Matthey, a world leader in advanced metals chemistry, seeks a U.K. Regional Operational Excellence Specialist. You will partner with UK site leadership to identify opportunities and lead programmes that boost productivity, quality, reliability, safety and cost performance.

You will drive JMPS maturity and spread best practices across sites. We value Black Belt Lean Six Sigma, data-driven problem solving and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Black Belt Lean Six Sigma qualification or equivalent continuous improvement expertise.
• Experience delivering operational excellence initiatives with measurable results.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret data and identify opportunities.
• Proven stakeholder management, influencing and facilitation skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, logistics or similar settings.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leadership and operational teams to identify improvement opportunities across UK sites.
• Lead and support operational excellence programmes that improve productivity, quality, reliability, safety and cost.
• Facilitate structured improvement activities, including Kaizen events and value stream analysis.
• Use data and root cause analysis to resolve challenges and drive sustainable improvements.
• Support maturity of the Johnson Matthey Production System (JMPS) across the region.
• Share best practices and help build continuous improvement capabilities within site teams.
