Job summary

Leicester City Council’s Live Well service seeks a proactive Live Well Coordinator (Community Engagement) to lead a team of Advisors and deliver high‑quality community health programmes across Leicester.

You will use data and insight to measure outcomes, support staff development, and partner with health organisations and community groups to respond to local needs while reducing health inequalities.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing and developing teams to deliver high‑quality services and measurable outcomes.
• Experience in driving service improvement and managing performance against targets.
• Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership and management to a team of Advisors to deliver high-quality services and meet performance targets.
• Use data, monitoring and audit information to evaluate service effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Support staff development through performance management and professional development.
• Build and maintain partnerships with health organisations, community groups, and local stakeholders to enhance services.
