The Barbican, part of the City of London Corporation, seeks an experienced Sound Technician to support the Music Department for a range of live events. The role requires handling sound equipment, following stage plans, and coordinating with Digico consoles in a fast-paced venue environment.

Applicants should have proven live-event experience, strong IT and project management skills, and the ability to work across teams.

Qualificações

• Proven experience in event production within a multi-disciplinary arts venue, concert hall, major music venue, or events organisation.
• Strong knowledge of the music industry and the creative processes involved in both classical and contemporary music-making.
• Demonstrable experience managing complex live events, including stage management, technical delivery, production planning, and budget management.

Responsabilidades

• Join the Music Department as a Technician with a sound specialization and oversee maintenance of basic sound equipment.
• Follow stage plans to determine microphone positions and patching; work with Digico mixing consoles and networks in a professional setting.
• Collaborate with a team to deliver high-level technical support for music and commercial events at Barbican venues.
