The Barbican Concert Hall seeks an experienced Technician with a sound specialization to join the Music Department. The role involves basic sound equipment maintenance, following stage plans for mic positions and patching, and working with Digico mixing consoles and networks in a professional setting.

You will join a team delivering high-level technical support for music and commercial events across venues.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in event production within a multi-disciplinary arts venue or major music venue.
• Strong knowledge of the music industry and the creative processes in both classical and contemporary music.
• Experience managing complex live events, including stage management, technical delivery, and production planning.

Aufgaben

• Lead technical delivery for live events in Barbican Concert Hall, Foyers and commercial venues.
• Follow and interpret stage plans, patch lists, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with artists, promoters, agents and internal teams to ensure seamless productions.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and risk assessments for live events.
