Job summary

Pharmacyupdate seeks a Female Support Worker for a live-in role in London, including London W10 and surrounding areas. You will support a female service user to stay independent, with a focus on daily living activities and personal development.

Must be Somali-speaking, with the ability to work alone and as part of a team. A fully funded Health and Social Care Level 3 or 4 qualification is offered while you earn.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care or support role is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to speak Somali is essential.
• Live-in care position requiring staying in the client's home.
• Flexible and committed to providing high-quality support.

Responsibilities

• Support the service user with cooking, cleaning and daily living activities.
• Encourage independence and personal development.
• Support access to social, leisure and recreational activities.
• Accompany the service user to college, appointments and community activities.
• Follow and implement her individual complex care plan.
• Ensure her health, safety, wellbeing and basic needs are met.
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support.
