CTRC Community Interest Company in London is seeking Female Support Workers to provide person-centred care for a female service user with complex needs, including a live-in position.

The role spans daily living support, social activities, and accompanying to college and appointments. Somali language skills are essential. Training opportunities are funded while you work, and you will join a supportive team in London W10 and surrounding areas.

• Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable but not essential.
• A valid UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to speak Somali is essential.
• Willingness to undertake a live-in care position.

IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Somali-speaking support worker required. The ability to speak Somali is essential for effective communication with the service user.
• Live-in care position: The successful candidate will be required to stay in the client's home and provide ongoing care and support.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be supporting a female service user to develop and maintain independent living skills, build confidence and enjoy a full and active lifestyle within her community.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the service user with cooking, cleaning and daily living activities.
• Encouraging independence and personal development.
• Supporting access to social, leisure and recreational activities.
• Accompanying the service user to college, appointments and community activities.
• Following and implementing her individual complex care plan.
• Ensuring her health, safety, wellbeing and basic needs are met.
• Delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support.
