Job summary

Active Care Group in Bristol is seeking a live-in style support worker to assist a female client who has had a stroke. The role involves travelling with her on outings and holidays, providing caring, patient and reliable support to help maintain an active, independent lifestyle.

The position operates on a flexible zero-hours contract with a consistent schedule around the client and potential travel to Ireland.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Comfortable driving an automatic car.
• Caring, patient, reliable and trustworthy.
• Enjoy helping the client maintain an active and independent lifestyle.
• Comfortable accompanying the client on outings and activities.
• Travel with the client on holidays to Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance.
• Provide flexible, ongoing support under a zero-hours arrangement while maintaining a stable pattern with the same client.
