Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a dedicated Female Live-In Support Worker to provide one-to-one care for a male client in rural Gloucestershire. You will work 12-hour shifts on a live-in basis, with two-week blocks and cover for holidays as needed.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, confidence driving, strong communication skills, and comfort around dogs. Experience with spinal cord injury is desirable, and you will receive paid holiday pay and ongoing support from the care team.

• Comfortable around dogs.
• Experience supporting individuals with spinal cord injury is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one live-in support for a male client with a spinal injury in a home setting.
• Be part of a care team delivering person-centred care to promote independence, dignity and quality of life.
• Transport assistance and driving support when required due to rural location.
• Flexible cover for holidays/festive periods and two-week live-in rotations.
