Job summary

Active Care Group in Warwick is seeking a live-in support worker to provide one-to-one, person-centred care for a male client with spinal cord injury in his family home.

You will support daily living, personal care, moving and handling, meals, and community activities, working within a stable care team on a flexible zero-hours contract.

Qualifications

  • Male applicants only due to personal care requirements.
  • Experience in care is preferred but attitude and willingness to learn matter.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred care to a male client in his home.
  • Assist with daily routines, personal care, moving & handling, medication and bowel management.
  • Deliver specialist clinical support with full training provided.

Join our brand-new team in Warwick – make a genuine difference every dayDo you love helping people live life their way?Looking for a role that’s flexible, rewarding, and built around meaningful one-to-one support?If that sounds like you, we’d love to welcome you to Active Care in the Home – part of the UK’s largest provider of complex care.About the roleWe’re looking for a male Live-In Support Worker to join our warm, supportive team in Warwick, supporting a male client in his family home.This is a truly person-centred role, providing one-to-one support to a man living with a spinal cord injury. He has limited mobility and requires assistance with all aspects of daily living, but with the right support, he continues to enjoy life both at home and out in the community.He’s sociable and enjoys spending time with others—whether that’s heading out for a drink, relaxing with films, or gaming on his PlayStation. He tends to keep later hours, usually staying up into the early morning and starting his day in the afternoon.Building a genuine connection is key in this role, so sharing or taking an interest in his hobbies will go a long way in creating a positive and supportive environment.In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance.
