Job summary

Hostelling Scotland is seeking Relief Hostel Assistant to support our network-wide operations across Scotland. You will cover reception, check-in/out, guest inquiries, and contribute to cleaning, housekeeping and basic catering.

The role requires flexibility during busy periods, the ability to travel between hostels, and access to your own transport. Live-in accommodation is available with a small weekly utility levy.

Qualifications

• Provide one satisfactory reference and a recent Basic Disclosure clearance.
• Right to work in the UK before starting with us.

Responsibilities

• Full reception service, check-in/out and handling customer enquiries.
• Cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Basic catering duties.
• The post holder will be required to travel throughout the network and will need access to their own transport.
