Job summary

Hungry Horse in the United Kingdom is offering a live-in General Manager role with a cottage accommodation at the edge of the New Forest. Salary up to £53,000 plus bonus, with the site being seasonal and Christmas/Winter quieter. You will lead by example, develop your team, and ensure a warm welcome for guests.

Key duties include growing pub sales, brand stewardship, and staff recruitment. Successful candidates may need to obtain a personal license.

Qualifications

• Experience leading pubs/restaurants in hospitality
• Strong leadership and people development skills
• Proven ability to grow pub sales and manage budget
• Excellent English communication and customer service
• Personal license either held or ability to obtain

Responsibilities

• Work with your business development manager and management team to grow pub sales.
• Lead by example in everything you do and bring our brand to life through your team in delivering amazing experiences for our customers.
• Recruit and develop your team to ensure they have the knowledge needed to delight our customers.
• Be a champion of brand standards and ensure customer and team safety at all times.
• If successful, you will need to already have, or be able to acquire a personal license.
