Job summary

Empowering U Healthcare is seeking compassionate Support Workers to provide person-centred care for a 22-year-old male in NG16. You will assist with daily living, monitor epilepsy and support community activities, aiming to keep the client safe and independent at home and in the community.

Roles include driving duties where possible and providing emotional support, with flexible shifts across a 1-week on/1-week off pattern and a daily rate of £133.13 plus a £10 food allowance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months UK care experience (essential).
• Experience with epilepsy, brain injuries or learning disabilities is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
• Full UK driving licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support as required.
• Monitor epilepsy and seizures per care plan and respond appropriately.
• Support community access, appointments and activities.
• Maintain accurate care records and communicate with the team.
• Promote independence, dignity and emotional wellbeing.
