Job summary

Medicare People invites self-employed Live-in Carers to join a network serving Rustington and surrounding areas. You will live in clients’ homes, provide person-centred care, assist with daily tasks, and help maintain independence in familiar surroundings.

The role offers flexible placements, ongoing opportunities, and a supportive team. Accommodation is provided during assignments, with free training to support professional development and a referral rewards programme.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of UK care experience.
• Kind, caring and compassionate personality.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence working within clients' homes.
• Ability to build positive relationships with clients and families.
• Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Flexibility to travel and work in different locations.
• Commitment to providing safe, high-quality care.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Medication administration experience is desirable.
• Live-in care experience beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with everyday living tasks.
• Provide person-centred care within their own homes.
• Assist with personal care and grooming.
• Offer companionship and emotional reassurance.
• Help with mobility and daily activities.
• Prepare meals and drinks.
• Administer medication safely and correctly.
• Carry out light housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Support with shopping and other essential errands.
• Monitor clients' wellbeing and report concerns.
• Keep care notes up to date and accurate.
