Job summary
Medicare People Limited is recruiting Live-in Carers on a self-employed basis to provide personalised care in clients' homes in Chichester. Flexible placements range from 4 days to 8 weeks with regular work across Chichester and free accommodation during placements.
Earn competitive weekly pay from £830, with a food budget, free uniform and ID, and ongoing support from experienced care managers. Training, pension, and bonus on bank holidays are provided along with referral rewards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months' professional care experience in the UK.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Medication experience is desirable.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care welcomed but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised care and support at home
- Assist with washing, dressing and personal care routines
- Provide companionship and reduce feelings of loneliness
- Help clients move around safely
- Prepare meals and encourage regular hydration
- Administer medication according to care plans
- Support household tasks and laundry
- Help with shopping and collecting prescriptions
- Observe and report changes in health or wellbeing
- Maintain detailed and accurate care records
- Work alongside families and other professionals
- Promote dignity, wellbeing and independence
