Job summary

Helping Hands Home Care is seeking a Live-in Care Assistant in Wales to provide compassionate, one-to-one care in clients’ homes, supporting daily living activities and health needs.

You’ll build strong relationships with clients, families and healthcare professionals, ensuring safe, dignified care while promoting independence and wellbeing. Training and development opportunities are available within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, caring nature and genuine commitment to care.

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider team.
• Ability to travel across Wales and deliver one-to-one care.
• Past care experience desirable, including medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes within Wales.
• Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and helping to the toilet.
• Assist with mobility needs to keep customers safe and independent.
• Administer and manage medication in line with care plans.
• Prepare meals and support with light household tasks.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to prescriptions.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, families and healthcare professionals.
• Offer calm, considerate support that ensures customers feel cared for.

Compensation: £750 - £850 / week

As a Live In Carer in Wales with Helping Hands, you’ll support people to stay independent in the comfort of their own homes by providing personalised one-to-one care, whilst enjoying fully covered living costs and flexible working patterns.

This is a role where relationships matter. You'll spend time getting to know the people you support, understanding what matters to them and providing consistent, personalised care that helps them stay safe, confident and connected to the life they love.

What you'll do
