Job summary

Alina Homecare in Swindon is seeking a live-in care worker to provide round-the-clock support to elderly clients. The role includes personal care, companionship, meal preparation and medication management, with full training and support from a dedicated care team.

We offer a flexible pattern (2 weeks in/1 week off or 4 weeks in/1-2 weeks off), pay £850–£950 per week, free accommodation, meals or allowance, and travel expense support. DBS checks and pension available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months care experience (domiciliary or residential).
• Enhanced DBS check (we can arrange).
• Willingness to live in client's home for placement duration.

Responsibilities

• Provide round-the-clock care and support.
• Assist with personal care including washing, dressing and grooming.
• Manage medications and monitor health.
• Plan and prepare meals with nutritional support.
• Assist with light housework and household tasks.
• Provide companionship and social engagement.
• Accompany to appointments and activities.
• Liaise with family and healthcare professionals.
• Be available for night-time support when needed.

As our live-in care worker, you will assist elderly customers with their daily activities. This can involve companionship, assisting with light housework, meal preparation, supporting with shopping, assisting with personal hygiene, laundry or assisting with medication. Alina Homecare provide full professional training and support, so you feel confident and competent in your career as a live-in carer.
