Job summary

Abicare is seeking a Live-in Care Professional to live with a client in their home, delivering person-centred care, companionship and practical support to help clients stay safe and independent.

This full-time role includes personal care, medication support, meal prep, light housework and accompanying clients to appointments. Training is provided, and a welcome bonus campaign runs in August. Salary £800.73 per week with benefits, in the South West/South Wales region, including Swindon.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' live-in care experience.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Confident supporting personal care and moving & handling.
• Kind, reliable and compassionate.
• Good communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK (we cannot offer visa sponsorship for this role)

Full Time – Live-in Care Professional

At Abicare, we're looking for experienced, compassionate people who genuinely want to make a difference.

As a Live-in Care Professional, you'll live with one client in their own home, providing personalised care, companionship and practical support to help them remain safe, independent and comfortable.

This is a rewarding role where you'll have the time to build meaningful relationships and deliver truly person-centred care, supporting clients with everything from personal care and medication to preparing meals, household tasks and accompanying them on outings or appointments.

We welcome applications from experienced Live-in Carers, Care Assistants, Healthcare Assistants, Support Workers and Home Care Professionals.

We provide live-in care across the South West of England and South Wales, including Salisbury, Bath, Bristol, Swindon, Bournemouth, Southampton, Exeter, Cardiff and the surrounding areas.

Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available; you must have permission to work in the UK.

About the role

As a Live-in Care Professional, you'll provide high-quality care and support while living in your client's home during your placement.

Your role may include:

• Personal care

• Medication support

• Companionship and emotional support

• Meal preparation

• Light household duties

• Shopping and accompanying clients to appointments

• Dementia support

• Promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing

• Communicating with families and healthcare professionals
