Job summary

Agincare is seeking live-in carers to help clients live with dignity, comfort and joy in their own homes across the UK. You will provide companionship, daily living support and travel across multiple regions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and support: chat, share a cup of tea, be a friendly presence.
• Assist with washing, dressing and oral care.
• Help with meal preparation and create balanced, nutritious meals.
• Perform light cleaning to maintain a safe, comfortable home.
• Assist clients to move safely and maintain independence.
• Encourage community engagement with trips and hobbies.

The ideal person will:

Your responsibilities may include:

• Offering companionship and support, sharing a cup of tea, a chat, and being a friendly face.
• Assisting with their washing, dressing, and oral care
• Helping with meal preparation, cooking and creating a balanced, nutritious diet
• Light cleaning to maintain a safe and comfortable home
• Helping clients move safely and live as independently as possible
• Helping clients to engage in the community with trips out, hobbies, and outings

Our clients are across the South West, South East, Central, and North of England, so you’ll need to be willing to travel. Our homes are rated Good by the CQC: CQC Rating

Additional information:

• Live-in placements are a minimum of 2 weeks, with flexibility on both sides
• Accommodation and food allowance provided
