Job summary

Bluebird Care Alton, Petersfield and Havant is hiring a Live-in Care Assistant. You will live in the customer's home, delivering high-quality, person-centered care that promotes independence, dignity and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care.
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Aged 18+.
• Right to Work in the UK (we cannot accept sponsored staff or visa transfers).
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential—full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care tailored to the customer and promote independence.
• Assist with personal care including washing, dressing, continence care and mobility.
• Support with medication and meal preparation.
• Take care of household tasks (laundry, cleaning, shopping, errands).
• Work independently with team support for guidance.
• Help customers stay connected to their community through activities, hobbies, and visits from loved ones.
• Offer comfort and care during illness, hospital visits, or end-of-life care.
