Job summary

Medicare People is seeking a compassionate Live-in Care Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to provide in-home support across Brighton. The role focuses on personalised care to help clients stay independent with dignity and choice.

You will assist with personal care, companionship, meals, mobility, and daily routines, delivering high-quality live-in care in clients' homes. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care environment preferred.
Ability to provide personal care with dignity and respect.
Willingness to work in clients' homes as part of a live-in care arrangement.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality live-in care within clients' homes.
Build trusting relationships with clients.
Support personal care and grooming routines.
Assist with mobility and moving around the home.
Prepare meals and drinks throughout the day.
Provide companionship and reassurance.
Administer medication in line with care plans.
Help keep the home clean, safe and comfortable.
Support with shopping and collecting prescriptions.
Monitor health and wellbeing.
Maintain clear and accurate care notes.
Work as part of a wider care team.
