Job summary

Bluebird Care Alton, Petersfield and surrounding areas is hiring a Care Assistant to provide high-quality, person-centred care in customers' own homes. You will promote independence, dignity and wellbeing while working as part of a supportive team. We offer expert training, flexible shifts across days and evenings, and a full induction with ongoing coaching.

No care experience is required—we train you. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are recommended, with paid travel time and mileage

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Aged 18+.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Great communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• Weekend availability (every other weekend or one day every weekend).
• No previous care experience required - training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each customer’s individual needs.
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Support with nutrition and hydration, including meal planning and preparation.
• Help with medication and prescriptions.
• Carry out light housework (tidying, laundry, cleaning).
• Be a dependent, friendly, and familiar face for our customers.
