Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Live-in Carer to help clients live with dignity, comfort and joy in their own homes. This key role involves companionship, personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and helping clients stay independent.

Our client base spans across the South West, South East, Central and North of England, with opportunities to travel. Agincare celebrates 40 years and is a growing, family-owned provider with around 6000 staff.

Qualifications

• Commit to a minimum of 2 weeks at a time.
• Be kind, compassionate, passionate about helping others.
• Have a minimum 12 months’ right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and support, share a cup of tea, and be a friendly face.
• Assist with washing, dressing, and oral care.
• Help with meal prep and a balanced, nutritious diet.
• Light cleaning to maintain a safe home.
• Help clients move safely and live independently.
• Encourage community engagement with outings and hobbies.

The ideal person will:

Your responsibilities may include:

• Offering companionship and support , sharing a cup of tea, a chat, and being a friendly face.
• Assisting with their washing, dressing, and oral care
• Helping with meal preparation, cooking and creating a balanced, nutritious diet
• Light cleaning to maintain a safe and comfortable home
• Helping clients move safely and live as independently as possible
• Helping clients to engage in the community with trips out, hobbies, and outings

Our clients are across the South West, South East, Central, and North of England, so you’ll need to be willing to travel. Our homes are rated Good by the CQC: CQC Rating

Additional information:

• Live-in placements are a minimum of 2 weeks, with flexibility on both sides
• Accommodation and food allowance provided
• You’ll have your own private room and access to WiFi
