Job summary

All Care Services is seeking a dedicated Live-In Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes in Hove, East Sussex. You will live with clients, providing daily personal care, companionship and practical support to maintain independence and dignity.

The role requires compassion, reliability and the ability to work independently in diverse home environments. Full UK work rights are required; sponsorship is not available.

About the Role

As a Live-In Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate, person-centred care and companionship to clients in the comfort of their own homes. You will live alongside your client, supporting them with daily activities, personal care and emotional wellbeing, helping them maintain independence, dignity and quality of life.

Your duties will include:

• Personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming and toileting
• Assisting with mobility, medication reminders and monitoring wellbeing
• Preparing nutritious meals and supporting with feeding where required
• Light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning and maintaining a safe living environment
• Shopping and running errands
• Providing companionship, emotional support and meaningful engagement
• Accompanying clients to appointments, social activities and community outings
• Maintaining accurate daily records and reporting any concerns appropriately
• Promoting independence, choice and dignity at all times

What We Are Looking For

• Reliability, professionalism and trustworthiness
• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential
• NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (advantageous)
• Basic First Aid and Manual Handling training (preferred)
