Job summary

All Care Services is inviting compassionate individuals to join our team as Live-In Care Assistants in Hove, East Sussex. You will live with clients in their own homes, delivering person-centred care, personal support, and companionship tailored to each client’s needs.

Qualifications

• Care experience is desirable but not essential.
• Right to Work in the UK; sponsorship not available.
• NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is advantageous.
• First Aid and Manual Handling training preferred.

About the Role

As a Live-In Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate, person-centred care and companionship to clients in the comfort of their own homes. You will live alongside your client, supporting them with daily activities, personal care and emotional wellbeing, helping them maintain independence, dignity and quality of life.

Your duties will include:

• Personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming and toileting
• Assisting with mobility, medication reminders and monitoring wellbeing
• Preparing nutritious meals and supporting with feeding where required
• Light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning and maintaining a safe living environment
• Shopping and running errands
• Providing companionship, emotional support and meaningful engagement
• Accompanying clients to appointments, social activities and community outings
• Maintaining accurate daily records and reporting any concerns appropriately
• Promoting independence, choice and dignity at all times
