Job summary

Lauriem Complete Care invites applications for Live-In Care Assistants to support clients in their own homes across the South of England. You will live with your client, delivering compassionate, person-centered care and companionship to help maintain independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is advantageous.
• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential.
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centred care to clients in their homes.
• Support daily activities, personal care, and emotional wellbeing.
• Assist with mobility, medication reminders and monitoring wellbeing.
• Prepare nutritious meals and support feeding where required.
• Light housekeeping and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement.
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings.
• Maintain daily records and report concerns.
• Promote independence, dignity and choice.

About the Role

As a Live-In Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate, person-centred care and companionship to clients in the comfort of their own homes. You will live alongside your client, supporting them with daily activities, personal care and emotional wellbeing, helping them maintain independence, dignity and quality of life.

Your duties will include:

• Personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming and toileting
• Assisting with mobility, medication reminders and monitoring wellbeing
• Preparing nutritious meals and supporting with feeding where required
• Light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning and maintaining a safe living environment
• Shopping and running errands
• Providing companionship, emotional support and meaningful engagement
• Accompanying clients to appointments, social activities and community outings
• Maintaining accurate daily records and reporting any concerns appropriately
• Promoting independence, choice and dignity at all times

What We Are Looking For

• Reliability, professionalism and trustworthiness
• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential
• NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (advantageous)
• Basic First Aid and Manual Handling training (preferred)
