Job summary

Bluebird Care Reigate is seeking a compassionate Live-In Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes. You will provide personal care, practical help, and companionship, helping customers maintain independence with dignity.

You will live with a client during shifts, follow care plans, and collaborate with the Bluebird Care team. The role offers training, ongoing support, and a values-driven environment focused on safety, respect, and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care that’s tailored to the customer and encourages their independence.
• Assist with personal care like washing, dressing, toileting and mobility.
• Manage their medication and prep their meals.
• Take care of household tasks like laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands.
• Support customers in staying connected to their community through social activities, hobbies, and visits from loved ones.
• Offer comfort and care through illness, hospital visits, or end-of-life care.
• Work independently while staying connected with our care team for support and guidance.
