Job summary

Bluebird Care in Mansfield & Ashfield is looking for a dedicated Live-in Care Assistant to provide personalized care that promotes independence in customers.

This role includes assisting with daily activities like personal care, meal prep, and managing medication. You will support clients in staying connected and engage them in social activities.

Full training is provided, along with paid breaks and accommodation, ensuring you have everything needed for success in the role.

Job description

Live-in Care Assistant

Location: Mansfield & Ashfield

Pay: £770.00-£840.00 | Expert training provided | Live-in role with paid breaks

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care that’s tailored to the customer and encourages their independence
• Assist with personal care like washing, dressing, toileting and mobility
• Manage their medication and prep their meals
• Take care of household tasks like laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands
• Support customers in staying connected to their community through social activities, hobbies, and visits from loved ones
• Offer comfort and care through illness, hospital visits, or end-of-life care
• Work independently while staying connected with our care team for support and guidance
• Paid breaks and accommodation while on placement
• Full induction and expert training, with continued learning and development
• Ongoing supervision and 24/7 support from our dedicated team
• Flexible working patterns (often 1-3 weeks on, followed by breaks)
• Pension scheme and travel expense reimbursement
