Job summary

Bluebird Care Chichester is seeking a Live-in Care Expert to provide compassionate, person-centered support in customers' homes. Youll live with the client, assisting with daily living, personal care, meals, mobility, and community activities, while following care plans and receiving ongoing supervision from our team.

This role offers paid breaks, holiday entitlement, travel reimbursement, and flexible patterns (1-3 weeks on, then breaks), with DBS checks and safeguarding training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in live-in home care preferred.
• Ability to follow care plans and work with a care team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care tailored to the customer and promote independence.
• Assist with washing, dressing, toileting and mobility.
• Manage medications and prepare meals.
• Handle household tasks such as laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands.
• Support customers in staying connected to their community and social activities.
• Provide comfort during illness, hospital visits, or end-of-life care.
• Work independently while staying connected with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care that’s tailored to the customer and encourages their independence
• Assist with personal care like washing, dressing, toileting and mobility
• Manage their medication and prep their meals

• Support customers in staying connected to their community through social activities, hobbies, and visits from loved ones
• Offer comfort and care through illness, hospital visits, or end-of-life care
• Work independently while staying connected with our care team for support and guidance
