Job summary

Bluebird Care Durham North is seeking an experienced Live-in Care Assistant (Female) to provide compassionate in-home support in Peterborough and surround areas. You will live with a client, support daily tasks and personal care, and help maintain independence.

We offer expert training, full induction, paid breaks and accommodation during placement, 28 days holiday, pension, and travel reimbursements. A right to work in the UK is required with no sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years care experience.
• Experience with complex care required.
• Experience with Parkinson's - Alzheimer’s - Dementia preferred.
• Ability to live with customers for agreed shifts.
• Right to Work in the UK with out sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care that’s tailored to the customer and encourages their independence.
• Assist with personal care like washing, dressing, toileting and mobility.
• Manage their medication and prep their meals.
• Take care of household tasks like laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands.
• Support customers in staying connected to their community through social activities, hobbies, and visits from loved ones.
• Work independently while staying connected with our care team for support and guidance
• Work with low & complex customers, individuals & couples.

Requirements

• Ability to live with customers for agreed shifts
• Follow care plans and Bluebird Care Policies
• Commit to training, professionalism and confidentiality
• Have a Right to Work in the UK with out sponsorship
