Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Limited in the United Kingdom is recruiting an experienced Site Manager for an eight-month contract to deliver a new extension to a live food factory, balancing production continuity with safety, hygiene and quality.

You will lead day-to-day site delivery, coordinate subcontractors and logistics, and manage interfaces with the client and factory teams to achieve a right-first-time handover.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on industrial/manufacturing projects.
• Experience in live operational settings; hygiene-controlled environments are highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, subcontractor management and programme control.
• Solid understanding of health, safety, quality assurance and environmental requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple interfaces and communicate effectively with clients and site teams.
• Decisive, organised and solutions-focused with commercial awareness and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day site delivery from mobilisation through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant, materials, logistics and temporary works against the programme.
• Manage works within and adjacent to a live facility while protecting production and product integrity.
• Maintain health, safety and environmental standards via inductions, RAMS reviews, permits and inspections.
• Act as key site contact for client, design team, project manager, commercial team and factory stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, identify risks early and implement practical recovery plans.
• Oversee quality inspections, records, snagging and close-out to achieve right-first-time handover.
• Coordinate building, structural, mechanical, electrical and process interfaces.
