Live Events Technical Project Manager Live Recruitment Kent, Kent, England
Office based 5 days initially, 4 days after probation
Arena tours, stadium festivals, global productions. The kind of work that defines a career in live events. If you want to be the person keeping that technical delivery on track from brief to showtime, this Live Events Technical Project Manager role is worth your full attention.
This is an international, award-winning specialist in lasers, pyrotechnics and special effects, delivering technically complex productions across global tours, major festivals and large-scale live events. With offices spanning the UK, US, Europe, Australia and the Middle East, the business operates across multiple territories and time zones. It is growing, with genuine ambition behind that growth, and combines creative design, technical expertise and specialist crew under one roof. The Live Events Technical Project Manager stepping into this environment will find genuine depth and breadth of work from day one.
The Live Events Technical Project Manager sits at the intersection of client, creative, technical and supplier relationships, taking projects from initial brief through to live delivery across tours, festivals and large-scale installations.
You will already have solid grounding across the live events and touring world. The right candidate will have spent meaningful time in a technical department on tour and stepped into project management responsibility within that environment, someone for whom reading technical drawings, rigging plots and stage plans comes naturally, and who holds a full driving licence.
Knowledge of laser, pyro or special effects equipment, show-tech experience, computer networks and IP, or international site-visit experience are all beneficial but not essential. Candidates coming from related technical project management or touring production backgrounds are equally welcome to apply.
Salary is competitive, the holiday allowance is generous, Bupa healthcare and a bonus scheme are both on the table, and the project portfolio is well above what most roles in this sector can offer.
Live specialises in all disciplines (and at all levels) across events, experiential and exhibitions.
We encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds, embracing diversity across all intersecting dimensions, including ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, well-being, abilities, and neurodiversity.
We are dedicated to ensuring a supportive and accessible recruitment process. If you require any adjustments or accommodations for any reason, please do not hesitate to let us know.
