Job summary

Strike A Light is seeking a Technical Manager to lead the technical and production aspects of its year-round programme of events in Gloucester. You’ll play a hands-on role, managing production schedules, equipment hires, budgets and logistics, and ensuring venues are safe and accessible.

Working closely with the Senior Producer, you’ll support artists and community producers to realise creative visions and troubleshoot on the ground. This is a freelance, hybrid role starting January 2026.

• Experience across theatre, dance, music, or festivals.
• Solid technical knowledge and understanding of theatre production.
• Calm under pressure and solution-focused.
• Confident in budgets and logistics.
• Enjoy working with diverse people and communities.
