Job summary

Far & Beyond Events in London is seeking an experienced Technical Production Manager to lead live event production from brief through onsite delivery. You will plan schedules, manage budgets, equipment, suppliers and crew, ensuring safety and alignment with creative vision and deadlines.

Based in London or Midlands, the role is office-based five days a week with travel as required; start date January 2027. The contract can be 8 or 12 months or freelancer per project, with long hours during show

Qualifications

• Extensive experience producing major events in music, festivals and concerts from a tech production perspective.
• Experience working with broadcast requirements in a live event environment.
• Hands-on experience in advancing multi-act line-ups and coordinating show logistics.

Responsibilities

• Advances all technical talent requirements.
• Clear understanding of the technical rider: lighting, stage, audio, backline etc.
• Sourcing & negotiating of technical equipment from local suppliers per procurement guidelines.
• Logistics of technical equipment to event location, including shipping & handling.
• Creation & management of production schedule.
• Provision of all technical & stage staffing (Audio, Lighting, Backline, Set Carpenter, crew).
• Onsite management & coordination of all talent & event technical suppliers.
• Stage management & show coordination with Project Manager and Talent Liaison.
• Liaison with venue operations regarding in-house technical elements and sound checks.
• Management of Tech Production budget in line with requirements and contractual obligations.
