Global Sports Jobs Limited is seeking a logistics professional to manage live event planning, transportation, storage and distribution. You will coordinate with event planners, exhibitors and venues to ensure efficient delivery and compliance with safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting and problem-solving skills to handle changes and emergencies while driving smooth event execution across conferences and exhibitions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a logistics or event coordination role.
• Experience managing logistics for diverse events and adapting to changing requirements.
• Understanding of transportation, storage and distribution for live events.
• Familiarity with the technical requirements of live events, conferences and exhibitions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with planners, exhibitors and teams.
• Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail for meticulous planning.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership to supervise logistics staff and drive performance.
• Experience optimizing resources to improve efficiency.
• Customer-centric approach to meet exhibitor needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics plans for live events, coordinating with planners, exhibitors and internal teams.
• Oversee procurement, transport and distribution of materials with inventory controls.
• Coordinate timely and secure transportation of materials with external providers.
• Implement distribution strategies for diverse events.
• Supervise set-up and dismantling, ensuring timelines and on-site coordination.
• Act as on-site contact for inquiries and emergencies during events.
• Identify challenges and create contingency plans for last-minute changes.
• Ensure health and safety compliance in all logistics activities.
• Lead logistics staff and provide training to improve skills.
• Collaborate with Finance to manage budgets and identify cost savings.
• Establish KPIs and report performance and improvements.
