Job summary

Levy is seeking an Assistant Logistics Manager at the NEC in Birmingham to oversee logistics for live events, conferences, and exhibitions. This role involves coordinating transport, storage and distribution of materials, ensuring efficient space utilisation and on-site coordination with planners, exhibitors, and venue staff.

The position requires proven logistics or event coordination experience, and leadership skills to supervise staff and drive safe, timely event delivery.

• Knowledge of logistics operations for live events, conferences, and exhibitions.
• Ability to lead and develop logistics staff and collaborate with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive logistics plans for live events, conferences, and exhibitions.
• Coordinate with event planners, exhibitors, and internal teams to understand specific logistical requirements.
• Ensure efficient allocation and utilisation of venue space for storage and transportation needs.
• Oversee procurement, transportation, and distribution of event materials.
• Supervise set-up and dismantling processes to meet event timelines.
• Maintain open communication with stakeholders and manage on-site logistics inquiries.
