Job summary

Silverstone is seeking a hands-on Logistics Assistant to join the fast-paced Facilities and Logistics team. You will support event setup, movement of furniture and equipment, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to deliver efficient logistics across the Silverstone estate.

The role requires practical lifting, strong attention to detail and a flexible approach to hours, including evenings and weekends during events. Full UK driving license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, events, facilities or similar operational role is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Practical, hands-on approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Support the setup and breakdown of all events as directed.
• Safely move, distribute and position furniture, catering equipment and stock.
• Ensure equipment is delivered and set up at the correct location and timescales.
• Assist with live event operations and respond to logistical needs.
• Keep front and back of house areas and storages clean and tidy.
• Report equipment failures or missing assets promptly.
• Operate company vehicles to move stock and assets safely.
