Job summary

g2 Recruitment seeks a Technical Architect / Architectural Technologist to act as the on-site technical lead between the design team and contractors on a Midlands project. The role covers construction phase delivery, coordination of architectural information, and responding to contractor queries.

Qualified Architect or Architectural Technologist with advanced Revit skills is required, plus proven experience on live projects and strong knowledge of building systems and construction processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with RFIs and site queries.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical point of contact between the design team and contractors on site.
• Manage and respond to contractor technical queries.
• Coordinate architectural information on a live construction site.
• Review and resolve issues relating to floors, walls, doors, windows and other building elements.
• Work closely with the contractor team to maintain design intent.
• Make informed technical decisions to keep the project moving forward.
• Read and interpret large volumes of technical drawings and documentation.
