Job summary

Encore’s UK Technical Delivery Department designs, plans, documents, and supports event technology systems across Audio, Lighting, Rigging, and Video for temporary events and live production. The Systems Designer will evaluate project needs and create designs that are safe and functional while ensuring adherence to Encore’s standards and commercial constraints.

The Systems Designer will be predominantly office based however will be required to conduct site visits to support operational demand.

Qualifications

• Extensive on-site experience in the temporary live events sector and related technologies.
• Proficient with Vectorworks and ConnectCAD.
• 2+ years of CAD software experience preferred.
• Strong written/oral communication and organisational skills.
• Willing to work at Encore offices and other sites.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate event requirements and propose solutions based on Encore guidelines.
• Create drawings, schematics, renderings, BOMs and scopes of work using CAD platforms.
• Support managers and teams with design iterations to match budget and inventory.
• Maintain high standards of design, planning and kit allocation.
• Identify required skills and competencies to deliver the designs.
