Job summary

ScottishPower Ltd. is seeking a Litigation Solicitor to lead commercial and construction disputes within its legal team at the ScottishPower HQ. You will handle high-value disputes, shape dispute strategy, and work closely with senior stakeholders to protect project delivery on energy infrastructure initiatives.

With a minimum of 4 years PQE and a UK practising certificate, you will balance legal risk with business priorities, delivering clear, practical advice in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with UK practising certificate and 4+ years PQE in litigation and dispute resolution.
• Experience across disputes, with exposure to construction, engineering or infrastructure matters preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise on a wide range of disputes including construction, shareholder, property and contractual matters.
• Manage disputes from instruction through resolution, with external counsel where required.
• Develop dispute strategies and provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice.
