(undisclosed) law firm in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join the Dispute Resolution team. You will manage a varied caseload across commercial and civil litigation, advise on strategy, and contribute to business development and client care. Hybrid working and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Ideal candidates have County Court and High Court experience, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, autonomous working style within a supportive team.

Litigation Solicitor - Stoke-on-Trent

An established and forward-thinking law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join its growing Dispute Resolution team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor with experience in commercial litigation and civil dispute resolution who is looking to manage a varied caseload while contributing to the continued expansion of a successful department.

The successful candidate will advise a broad range of clients on complex and high-value disputes along with playing an active role in business development, building professional relationships and supporting the firm's long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

The Litigation Solicitor will be responsible for managing a broad range of contentious matters, including:

• Commercial disputes, including shareholder, partnership and director disputes.
• Commercial and residential property litigation.
• Contractual disputes and breach of contract claims.
• Professional negligence matters.
• Debt recovery and enforcement proceedings.
• Insolvency-related disputes.
• Defamation claims.
• Restrictive covenant and post-termination disputes.
• Managing County Court and High Court litigation from initial instruction through to resolution.
• Representing clients during negotiations, mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution where appropriate.
• Advising clients on litigation strategy, legal risk and costs throughout the lifecycle of a matter.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through the delivery of commercially focused legal advice.
• Developing new business opportunities through networking, marketing initiatives and professional referrals.
• Contributing to the mentoring and development of colleagues and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and exceptional client care.
