Barnes Law in London is seeking a proactive Litigation Paralegal to join our boutique disputes team. You will work directly with solicitors on live matters from day one, drafting court documents and handling disclosure with real responsibility.

The role requires CPR experience, strong English writing, and the ability to manage case timetables. A paralegal qualification or law degree is preferred, with a clear path to build a career in commercial litigation.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year's experience in a litigation department at a law firm.
• Solid working knowledge of CPR and court processes in England and Wales.
• Experience with pre-action protocols, disclosure, and court bundles.
• Strong written English and the ability to draft clearly without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Drafting court documents, witness statements, and correspondence.
• Conducting legal research under CPR and advising on procedural points.
• Managing disclosure exercises and document review.
• Preparing court and trial bundles to exacting standards.
• Liaising with clients, counsel, and the courts.
• Monitoring case management timetables and directions orders.
• Supporting fee earners at every stage of litigation.
