Job summary

CRA Consulting is recruiting a Litigation Executive to join its Personal Injury and Group Claims team inchesterfield, Derbyshire. The role involves managing a caseload of litigated claimant matters with exposure to Personal Injury, Group Litigation, and data breach claims.

You will draft pleadings, liaise with barristers and experts, assess liability and negotiate settlements, all within a specialist claimant practice focused on high‑quality litigation.

Qualifications

• Experience handling litigated Personal Injury or wider civil litigation claims.
• Strong knowledge of the litigation process and court procedures.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and case management skills.
• Ability to manage own caseload effectively with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of litigated claims from inception through to resolution.
• Drafting pre-action correspondence, pleadings and other legal documentation.
• Preparing Claim Forms, Directions Questionnaires and other procedural documents.
• Instructing and liaising with barristers, medical experts and other third parties.
• Negotiating settlements and representing clients throughout the litigation process.
