Job summary

The Portfolio Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Litigation Executive to manage high-level Employment Tribunal and Early Conciliation matters as part of their QWE pathway. You will handle full caseloads for corporate clients with support in a fast-paced, globally recognized environment.

Ideal candidates will hold a Law degree/GDL plus LPC or BPTC, with proven end-to-end litigation experience in Employment Law, and possess strong attention to detail and commercial mindset.

Qualifications

• Law degree or GDL with LPC or BPTC qualifications.
• Experience handling end-to-end litigation processes.
• Knowledge of Employment Law preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload in Employment Tribunal and EC matters from start to finish.
• Draft ET3 responses and witness statements for tribunals.
• Prepare court bundles and manage document disclosures.
• Advise corporate clients on merits and commercial outcomes.

The Role & Responsibilities

You will assume full conduct of your own caseload, managing Employment Tribunal and Early Conciliation matters from inception to resolution on behalf of business owners.

• Case Preparation: Draft ET3 responses, witness statements, and relevant tribunal applications.
• Trial Prep: Handle full document disclosure and compile comprehensive court bundles.
• Advocacy & Negotiation: Conduct preliminary hearings by telephone and negotiate commercially favourable settlements.
• Client Management: Act as a dedicated legal partner to corporate clients, advising them on the merits and commercial realities of their cases.

What You Bring to the Team

• Legal Education: A Law degree/GDL plus LPC or BPTC qualifications.
• Litigation Experience: Proven track record handling the full litigation process for your own end-to-end caseload.
• Subject Knowledge: A strong understanding or genuine passion for Employment Law (highly desirable).
• Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, a confident communication style, and a commercially-minded approach to dispute resolution.
