Job description

Main Responsibilities

As our new Litigation Assistant, you will also:

  • Support litigation solicitors to deliver fair treatment and outcomes for members, ensuring compliance with policies and standards set by the Council, its committees, and delegated authorities
  • Manage informal complaints and expressions of dissatisfaction to achieve first-touch resolution for our members
  • Use appropriate communication channels to keep members informed, ensuring advice and support are policy-compliant, technically accurate, and delivered professionally and empathetically
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for:

  • An understanding of the CPR and litigation process
  • Knowledge of litigated clinical negligence claims
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • IT literacy with practical experience in case management and telephone systems
